ADD: Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique used to ease pain. Silicone suction cups are placed on the treatment area of your body. A vacuum or suction force inside the cup pulls your skin upward and allows for the draw of blood to specific areas of your body. Cupping therapy is mainly used to relieve conditions that cause pain.  It may also help with chronic (ongoing) health issues.

(Note: The suction force from cupping breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under your skin. You’ll have red, round cupping therapy marks that generally fade in 10 days.  Although these marks will look like bruises, they’re not true bruises that injure muscle fibers.
